PetSmart buys small animals by the thousands to sell to customers, even though breeders often treat their animals very poorly. If these animals get sick or injured, PetSmart does not provide them with veterinary care and leaves them to die.
PetSmart also admits to using glue traps to "control" rats and mice, which are the same animals the chain sells. When animals get stuck in glue traps and try to escape, patches of their skin and fur are ripped off their bodies. Some animals want to escape so badly that they chew off their own limbs.
Today, you can help the millions of animals sold by PetSmart by pledging not to set foot in any of its stores until live animals are no longer sold. We want you to take a picture of yourself and your animal companions with a sign reading, "We Won't Shop at PetSmart."
