Animal-Friendly Halloween Candy Tags
Question: What’s better than giving out candy to all your classmates, friends, and neighbors this Halloween?
Answer: Passing out treats with adorable candy tags that help save animals!
Meet Pumpkin Nugget and his friend Witch Nugget.
By passing these tags out with your Halloween goodies, you’ll be reminding all your friends that the best way they can help animals like cows, fish, and chickens is to say NO to eating them.
All you’ll need is a pair of scissors, some tape, and your favorite vegan candy. Then, just follow these four simple steps, and you’ll be a Halloween hero for animals:
1. Download and print out our super-cool animal-saving candy tags, just like these compassionate kiddos did!
2. Cut the tags into individual squares.
3. Use tape to stick ’em to your favorite vegan candy and Halloween bags.
4.Voilà! You’re now ready to pass them out to your friends at school and to trick-or-treaters on Halloween night.
Once your candy tags are ready, ask your parents to snap a photo of them. Then send your photo*, along with your mailing address, to [email protected] to receive free PETA Kids stickers! (Note: We can send stickers only to addresses in the U.S. and Canada.)
Be sure to let your friends know that factory farms are scary places for animals all year long, not just on Halloween. Most cows, pigs, chickens, and other animals who are used for food live in dark, tiny sheds or cramped cages, and they often don’t even have enough room to turn around or sit down.
