Santa is making his rounds again to lots of kids all over the world, and this holiday season, he’s also going to SeaWorld. He may not realize how sad the animals there are. Instead of spending the holidays with family and friends, like humans love to do, orcas, dolphins, and other animals at the park are forced to live in tanks and exhibits that are nothing like their homes in the wild.

Corky, an orca at SeaWorld San Diego, was torn away from her mother and abducted from her home in the ocean. She has been held captive at marine parks for more than 50 years.

While Santa is at SeaWorld, we need to send him letters letting him know that we have something very important on our wish list this year: freedom for orcas! Let’s tell Santa that we want SeaWorld to send the animals who are suffering there to seaside sanctuaries.

The best gift that SeaWorld can give to the animals at its marine parks is compassion.

Help Corky and other animals by asking Santa to tell SeaWorld to send the animals to seaside sanctuaries. Here’s what to do:

1. Write and decorate your letter to Santa.
Use your imagination! Grab some markers or crayons and a piece of paper, and write your wish for animals at SeaWorld. Then decorate the letter so that Santa will notice it.

2. Address the envelope and then mail your letter.
Once you’ve written your letter and decorated it, ask your parents to help you put this address on the envelope: Santa at SeaWorld Orlando, 7007 Sea World Dr, Orlando, FL 32821. Then put a stamp on it and stick it in a mailbox.

3. Share a picture of your letter.
Make sure that you take a picture of your letter and send it to us so we can see your awesome work! You can even ask your parents to post the picture online to share it with family and friends.
