Buying a hermit crab means supporting a cruel business that takes these sensitive animals from their homes in the wild and ships them off to stores to be sold for a profit. They belong in the wild, not in stores!

You can help hermit crabs by taking these three easy steps:

1. Print out your FREE hermit crab coloring sheet. Then grab your favorite colored pencils, markers, or crayons and color in the pictures.

2. Show your parents and hang them somewhere for everyone to see. Every time people walk into your house, they will be reminded that hermit crabs don’t deserve to suffer in captivity (no animal does!).

3. When you’re done coloring your free activity sheets, ask your parents to take a picture of them. Then ask them to send the picture,* along with your mailing address, to [email protected] so you can receive free stickers! (But remember: We can only send stickers to addresses in the U.S. and Canada.)
