Our furry animal companions are our best friends, and we owe it to them to make sure that their lives are as happy and comfortable as they can possibly be. But for every lucky dog or cat who has a comfortable home, nutritious food, and a loving guardian like you, countless other dogs and cats are suffering at the hands of incompetent or abusive people, are struggling to survive on the streets, or are waiting in animal shelters for a good home.

Dogs can’t sweat! Instead, they pant to cool themselves off. So when it’s hot, be sure that your dog has lots of fresh water to drink and isn’t out in the sun for too long.
