Healthy Vegan Snacks
Did you know that going vegan is not only the best thing that you can do to help animals but also one of the best things that you can do for your own health? But just because something doesn’t have animal ingredients, that doesn’t necessarily make it healthy. Although, with our new list of easy, healthy snack ideas, choosing nutritious, animal-free foods has never been easier!
The key to eating right is planning ahead—either plan ahead or plan to fail. So keeping yummy, wholesome snacks ready to go will always keep you ahead of the game!

Directions: Cut 4 celery stalks in half and fill the center of each with peanut butter. Sprinkle raisins on top and enjoy!
Vegetables ‘N’ Hummus

Directions: Cut 2 celery stalks and 1 to 2 carrots in half, then cut 1 to 2 slices of pita bread into quarters. Dip the pita bread and veggies in your favorite hummus and have the best snack ever!
Dairy-Free Yogurt With Granola and Fruit

Directions: Put 1 cup of your choice of vegan yogurt (like Silk and So Delicious brands) in a bowl. Place some berries, melons, or other fresh fruit on top and sprinkle with crunchy granola.
Dried Fruit

Directions: This one needs no prepping! Just find your favorite type of dried fruit at the store. We recommend dried apples or mangos—they taste like candy!
Chips and Guacamole

Directions: Dip your favorite corn chips (or flax and bean chips) into some fresh guacamole. You can even make your own guacamole by mixing together 1 mashed avocado, 1/2 cup of chopped onions, 1 diced garlic clove, 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro and the juice of one lime!
Ask an adult to help you get the ingredients that you’ll need, then prepare the food as directed above!
