365 Everyday Value

The Whole Foods brand has recently started selling an almond milk-based vegan ice cream in select Southern California stores, and we hope if people buy enough of it, it’ll be sold in more stores soon. The long list of flavors includes Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Berry Chantilly Cake, Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Swirl, Coconut Almond Bliss, and Mocha Java Fudge. The product line is also gluten-free.

Almond Dream, Coconut Dream, Rice Dream, and Soy Dream

The dairy-free ice creams in these lines come in a bunch of different flavors, like Praline Crunch, Toffee Almond Fudge, Vanilla, and Chocolate. You can also find Rice Dream ice cream bars and Frozen Dessert Bites and Coconut Dream Frozen Dessert Bites.

Archer Farms

Target stores are now even more vegan-friendly, thanks to its store brand’s new vegan ice creams. The nondairy frozen desserts from Archer Farms are made with almond milk and come in seven delicious flavors. Choose from Vanilla Cake & Cookie Dough, Caramel Fudge Brownie, Cashew Caramel, Strawberry & Fudge, Vanilla Bean, Peanut Butter & Chocolate, and Mocha Almond Fudge.

Ben & Jerry’s

Now that Ben & Jerry’s offers dairy-free ice cream, there’s truly no excuse not to go vegan. The company currently offers 11 nondairy flavors, and they’re all the best. Honestly, we can’t pick a favorite.

This popular brand has two flavors made from almond milk: Vanilla Peanut Butter and Oreo Cookies & Cream.

Cado

All the other ice creams on this list are made with different nondairy milk bases, but Cado is made from avocados. Yes, avocados!

Tofutti’s premium pints were the first nondairy frozen dessert to be sold to the general public in grocery stores.
