We’re sure you have heard about the novel coronavirus (which causes COVID-19) and know that it’s not only affecting the way we’re living but also hurting others. But you might not know why or how it began in the first place. Raising and killing animals for food is terrible for the environment, and eating animals is really unhealthy—even potentially deadly—for humans. This pandemic is just another example showing how hurting animals hurts us, too. Animals aren’t ours to experiment on, eat, wear, use for entertainment, or exploit or abuse in any other way.
